Juliette Bellocq

One purpose of design is to connect us all.
Juliette Bellocq leads Handbuilt, NAC’s graphic design studio. She is committed to using design as a tool to collaborate with communities and uplift the stories that make them unique. She pursues design methods based on conceptualization and visual experimentation for diverse formats, from environmental to print and digital. Juliette teaches at Otis College of Art and Design and the Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles. She earned a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the California Institute of the Arts. Prior, she studied in Paris and Den Haag. Her work has received awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the American Institute of Architects, and the Society for Experiential Graphic Design.
